The Savin Center has been involved in clinical research since 1962 and has extensive experience in carrying out Phase II and Phase III clinical investigations of systemic and topical agents for a variety of sponsors. Over the years, SDC has completed several hundred pharmaceutical studies mostly for FDA approval purposes. These clinical research studies have involved new dermatologic investigative drugs, existing drugs, OTC medicinal products, consumer skin care and cosmetic products. Savin has also done marketing and marketing claim substantiation studies. Recent projects include basic evaluation of new cortisone creams, antifungal agents, antipsoriatic agents as well as hair-growing and anti-wrinkle formulations and procedures.
